Part of my new Starry Night Series.

The ring is hand crafted from solid sterling silver with several elements made from 14k yellow gold.  The entire ring was oxidized after being completed, and then the gold, and all of the droplets were polished, as well as the inside of the ring.  The overall effect is a beautiful contrast between the spots of shiny silver and gold against the flat black of the band.

The opal is a solid Australian opal, with a slight crystal base and the fire is absolutly stunning.  Mostly green and purple, with a bit of orange fire.  The opal is much nicer in person.  I take pride in providing good pictures, but will never over exaggerate the fire in my opals which will always be better in person. This piece displays great fire from every angle, even under indoor light.
