Who says diamonds have to be set in gold?

This unique ring was hand forged from a solid piece of sterling silver. I gave it a very light hammered finish and then oxidized the entire ring. After it had turned completely black, I re-polished the inside to a brushed finish and lightly buffed the black off of all of the high sports in the hammered texture to give the ring a beautiful textured pattern.

After polishing I slowly set a total of 8 diamonds around the band, staggered and at random intervals. Each one is set flush with the surface of the ring so they will not snag on anything.

Each diamond is 100% natural, Eye clean, round brilliant cut. The average diamond size is 1.70mm in diameter. The total carat weight is 0.16 carats.
