Rustic. Hammered. Oxidized. FUN!!!

The entire ring is made from solid copper. The band is a hefty and hand forged. The shell is also hand forged and textured by hand. The small "pearl" is a droplet of reclaimed sterling silver. All joints are made using sterling silver jewelry grade solder so there is no lead or cadmium in this ring.

After I finish each ring, I heavily oxidize the entire piece and then burnish and work harden the ring. This process stiffens and strengthens the metal and also gives the ring its glossy, almost "wet" like look.

The "Shell" is about 1.25" across.

This ring is made to order. Please leave your ring size when checking out. If you would like a polished (Non-oxidized version) please just say so and I'll make that happen.

You can also hadd a hand stamped message, initials etc to the inside of the ring if you wish. Hand stamped items cannot be returned. Please limit Stamping to 8 letters and or numbers.

A note about copper: Copper will oxidize over time naturally. I have pre-aged my rings which will naturally change and wear over time. I do not seal my copper rings, although you are welcome to do so yourself when you receive it to preserve the current appearance. Each persons skin will react differently with copper to give the ring a unique patina over time.
